It’s been a long time since Windows 11 was released, but today I’m going to tell you about 5 reasons why windows 10 is still best and you don’t need to upgrade windows 11. But if you still have this question that should I update to Windows 11? then The short answer is unless you know of a compelling reason to do. So in my opinion the answer is No. Windows 10 is going to be around for a long time, and there’s no compelling reason in my mind for you or the average consumer to update to Windows 11. So here are 5 reasons why windows 10 is still best.
Windows 10 still get updates
One of the important things to realize and I mentioned this already is, Windows 10 is going to be around for a very long time. Windows 10 is expected to be supported until towards the end of 2025. So that’s close to three years worth of support for an operating system which is the most deployed operating system ever. It is on more machines than any previous version of Windows as I understand it. And talking about windows 11, it doesn’t really bring anything truly wonderful to the table yet. So windows 10 is still best in my opinion.
High-end requirements for windows 11
When it comes to upgrading to Windows 11, most of the machines are not compatible with the requirements of Windows 11. That’s gotten us a lot of press dealing with the TPM and the specific processors that are supposedly supported or not. The bottom line is that the requirements for Windows Eleven are actually fairly confusing, and in my opinion, they’re probably going to change now.
Windows 10 has better UI experience
Talking about UI of the operating system, windows 10 has the better experience on this in my opinion. Because the taskbar and start menu is better on windows 10. Windows 10 has wider and more informative taskbar button which is a big deal for some users. Windows 11 start menu show suggested apps list instead recently installed app which may based on advertising.
No new features on windows 11
If you want to upgrade windows 11 for a any specific feature then don’t do that. Because Windows 11 has no impactful feature. But if you get a new machine that comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, then run Windows 11. Otherwise windows 10 is still best for you.
Windows 10 is still best
Windows 10 is an interesting operating system. It feels a lot like what I would have classified as a big service pack to Windows 10. There are some user interface changes that I’ve met with some mixed results. There are a few functionality changes. The most controversial part of it was I believe they used the naming change from Ten to Eleven as their opportunity to introduce more specific and more restrictive hardware requirements.
5 reasons why windows 10 is still best
So these are the reason why I think Windows 10 is still best. If you take a look at releases of Windows since Windows XP, Windows XP is very popular. The next version, Windows Vista, is not so much. The next version, Windows Seven very popular. The next version, Windows Eight, is not so much. The next version, Windows Ten now very popular. It’s on over a billion machines on the planet. The next version, we have windows 11 and let’s see how far it will go. So these are the 5 reasons why windows 10 is still best in my opinion. If you also have thoughts on it you can comment below.
