How to Stream Mobile Games on YouTube? How can you share your gameplay with the world while you play on your phone? Don’t worry, here’s the best way how to stream mobile games on YouTube through PC.

Screen mirroring : How to Stream Mobile Games on YouTube

So if you want to know how to stream mobile games on YouTube than first thin you need to do is record or stream your android phone screen. And for that, we’re going to use a method called screen mirroring. for this, we’re going to use an app called scrcpy or screen copy.

Before we use screen copy we need to enable USB debugging on our phone. to do that, go to your phone’s settings, about the phone, software information, and tap on build number until you enable developer options. now go back to your phone’s settings and go to developer options look for USB debugging and make sure it’s enabled. connect your phone to your pc, take note that some phones want to be connected on USB 3 for data transfer.

Scrcpy download and preparation : How to Stream Mobile Games on YouTube

Now you need to download and set up a scrcpy. search for screen copy and look for the GitHub page. scroll down until you get the windows to download link after downloading the file, unzip the file to a folder in any location you want. and open the folder and copy the location. now we’re going to try and run screen copy(scrcpy) before that we need to connect our phone with pc via data cable, open the cmd or command prompt in your pc and type cd space then paste the location of your folder by pressing ‘ctrl+v’ press enter.

We are now in the screen copy folder in cmd. now type ‘ADB devices’, you’ll notice that your device will be labeled as unauthorized, check your android phone there must be a message asking if you want to allow USB debugging check always from this computer if you want, tap ok and type ‘ADB devices’ again in cmd to check your device. once it says connected, we can start screen copy in cmd type scrcpy, and hit enter.

After all the process you will see a pop-up window of your smartphone. but here is the catch, in your case if the mirrored screen doesn’t look crispy clear then you can play around with bitrate. the default bitrate is 8Mbps and you can increase it by a command, ‘scrcpy -b (bitrate)M’ for example if you want to keep your bitrate 20Mbps then type ‘scrcpy -b 20M’ and hit enter, it will create a new window with new resolution. you can mirror your smartphone screen wirelessly also but I recommend using this USB method because the wireless method is not that reliable as the USB method.

Audio mirror and voice chat : How to Stream Mobile Games on YouTube

Now the mirrored screen is ready to be streamed or recorded but how about the audio for the audio you’re going to have to get a few items don’t worry these won’t cost much. items needed a 3.5-millimeter TRRS splitter for split the audio and microphone signals, a 3.5-millimeter TRS splitter for duplicate the audio signal, and lastly a 3.5-millimeter TRS aux cable. if you need to use a mic on your phone you need a headset with separate audio and mic plugs and if it only has a single 3.5-millimeter plug then you’re going to need a 3.5-millimeter TRRS female to TRS male plug to separate the audio and microphone signals of your headphone.

First, connect the TRRS player to your phone, connect the TRS splitter to the audio plug on the TRRS splitter, connect your headset’s mic to the corresponding plug on your TRRS splitter, connect your headset’s audio plug to one of the ports on the TRS splitter connect the male 2 male cables on the remaining port on the TRS splitter and the other end to your computer’s line-in, which is the blue port on the back of your computer.

If you don’t need to use a mic on your phone you just need to connect the male to male cable directly to your phone’s 3.5-millimeter port and the other end to your computer’s line-in port. audio also can be mirror wireless with the help of sound copy(sndcpy) but again this method sounds a little bit delayed so not the best method.

OBS setup : How to Stream Mobile Games on YouTube

Now let’s set up our mirrored screen and audio on obs. open obs and add screen copy(scrcpy) as a game capture source add whatever label you want and click ok, set the mode to a specific window, and choose screen copy(scrcpy) click ok. you’ll be able to see the screen copy window on the obs frame you can make some adjustments on the side so that the game fits perfectly on the frame.

That’s it your phone’s screen is ready to stream through obs but what about that audio? to be able to capture and hear the audio through your computer go to obs settings and go to audio, look for mic slash auxiliary audio 2, and select line-in, click apply and then ok, at the audio mixer of obs, look for mic aux 2. click on the gear icon and click advanced audio properties, change the audio monitoring to monitor only you can select monitor and output but you will have to mute the desktop audio to prevent echoing. click close now you’ll be able to hear your phone’s audio you will also be able to record it.

I know that some of you might ask for obs settings I’m not an expert on this so you can use your own. and here is the test stream link that you can check out the quality of the stream. So now i hope with help of this blog post you know the method on how to stream mobile games on YouTube.
